General Criteria for Waterfront Construction. Design Manual 25.6.

Abstract

Basic criteria for the design of the elements used in waterfront construction is presented for use by experienced engineers. The contents cover general requirements concerning piling, deck, and substructure framing, and hardware for waterfront structures, as well as specific criteria for various types of installations. A section on the strength evaluation of existing waterfront structures and a section on the deterioration of waterfront structures also are included. (Author)
