Optimal Vibration Reduction over a Frequency Range.
Abstract
This is a review of optimal vibration reduction techniques for systems subject to harmonic excitation over a frequency range. Only passive means of control are considered. The objective functions used for optimization are restricted to those which relate directly to some measure of frequency response. Other common optimization goals such as weight minimization with response constraints are not included. (Author)
