Effectiveness of Mission Essential Maintenance Only (MEMO) During Transition to War

Abstract

Study focused on heavy present and 1986 era equipment to define impact of contingency maintenance standard on policies, procedures, doctrine in AR 750-1; determine impacts of transitioning to new standards, and impacts on turn around times/special controls. Central objective was to assess MEMO as one means of providing essential maintenance with a reduced strength maintenance force during the transition to war period.
