The Design Development and Test of a Pulse Monitor System.

Abstract

The objective of this contract was to design instrumentation to sense electrical breakdown phenomena on or near the surface of a spacecraft due to environmental or spacecraft surface charging induced by natural means and/or by charge emission by on-board devices. These discharges were characterized by measuring their polarity, peak amplitude, maximum duration, number, and total energy for successive one second sample intervals. (Author)
