An Engineering Method for Estimating the Aerodynamic Characteristics of Circulation Control Wings (CCW)

Abstract

An engineering method for predicting the aerodynamic characteristics of Circulation Control Wings is presented. The method has been developed from correlations of the available DTNSRDC data base in accordance with theoretical developments of circulation control by slot blowing and modified jet flap theory for finite span effects.
