Simple K-Energy Radiative Scaling Law for Imploding Wire Arrays And Gas Puffs.

Abstract

A simple static-K-energy radiation power scaling expression has been derived for element with Z < or = 40. Bound-Bound, Free-Bound, and Free-Free transitions have been included and accounted for in the expression. The results are shown to be in reasonable agreement with a wide range of experimental values.
