The Army Study Program Fiscal Year 1984 Report. Volume 1.

Abstract

The FY 84 Army Study Program presented herein includes command and agency study agendas for Fiscal Year 84. Volume I of The Army Study Program (TASP) contains a description of this year's study program in terms of Total Army Goals. A macro-analytical approach has once again been taken in an attempt to portray the direction taken by the Army study community in responding to the needs of the Army in terms of TOTAL ARMY GOALS and Performance Management Army. In addition to the analysis of the current program initiated with last year's TASP, a comparison of the FY 84 program is presented, illustrating the manner in which all of the goals are presented, and provides information on the program in terms of key parameters such as combat application, payback, study status and performance method.
