Workshop on Dynamic Fracture Held at Pasadena, California on 17-18 February 1983.

Abstract

This workshop was proposed to provide a forum for the discussion of problems to be overcome and research to be undertaken in the future in the area of dynamic fracture. Fundamental aspects of the problems were to dominate over the applied or engineering design facets. Practical problems were to be related to the mechanisms of explosives and impact damage. (Author)
