Interactive Digital Image Processing for Terrain Data Extraction, Phase 4.

Abstract

This phase of the study concentrated on refinement of vegetation extraction techniques developed in phases 1 through 3. Software was also generated for scaling and mosaicking vegetation data derived from separate adjacent scenes, as appropriate for covering a given map area. The raster format classification files were converted to polygon vector files in the Standard Interface Format. (Author)
