National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Mount Williams Reservoir Dam (Ma 00282), Hoosic River Basin, North Adams, Massachusetts. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dam consists of a 700 foot long, 40 foot high earthen dam with a 2500 ft. long earth dike extending from its right abutment. The dam is in fair condition. The size is intermediate and the hazard potential is high. Investigations are recommended to determine the need and means of increasing spillway capacity.
