Abstract

Griswold Pond Dam is a 500 foot long, 9.5 foot high earthfill embankment. The dam is in poor condition and has been overtopped at least five times in the past. There are deficiencies which must be corrected to assure the continued performance of this dam. The size of the dam is small and it is significant in the hazard category.
