National Program for Inspection of Non-Federal Dams. Caspian Lake Dam (VT 00183) Richelieu River Basin, Greensboro, Vermont. Phase I Inspection Report.

Abstract

The dam is a 205 ft. long, 7.4 ft. high dam consisting of earth, stone and concrete. The visual inspection of the embankment indicates there has been considerable deterioration of the dam since its construction prior to 1929. It is intermediate in size with a significant hazard potential. There are various remedial measures and recommendations which should be undertaken by the owner.
