General Perturbation Satellite Theory.

Abstract

The theory considers the satellite orbit perturbations due to an arbitrary zonal harmonic gravitational field of the earth and the accelerations due to sun and moon. First-order short-period terms are determined by the von Zeipel technique. The remaining long-periodic equations of Motion are integrated numerically with step sizes on the order of 0.25 days.
