Phase and Amplitude Measurements of Individual Dipoles of 450-800 MHz, 9-Element Array.

Abstract

The results of phase and amplitude measurements of individual dipoles in a 9-element (3 x 3 configuration) array are presented. The 3 x 3 array, designed for 450 to 800 MHz operation, consists of 9 open-sleeve dipoles. Using sweep frequency measurement techniques, the phase and amplitude characteristics of each individual dipoles. Using sweep frequency measurement techniques, the phase and amplitude characteristics of each individual dipole are compared to the center element for both vertical and horizontal polarizations.
