Report on Amphibious/Advanced Base and Cots Programs.

Abstract

The purpose of the program review was to present the status of projects and provide the attendees and project engineers an opportunity for surfacing and discussing problem areas. The Amphibious/Advanced Base briefing was divided into tow parts. On July 12, the Joint Navy/Marine Corps POL program was presented and on July 13, the ALSA (Amphibious Logistic Support Ashore) program was reviewed. The COTS(Container Offload and Trand Transit System) program was reviewed on July 14. The program reviews were viewgraph, slide, and motion picture presentations by project engineers and consisted of project descriptions, past, present and future efforts.
