Installation Restoration Program. Phase I. Records Search. Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

Abstract

A search of USAF, state and federal agency records and interviews with past and present base personnel agency representatives were conducted to identify past hazardous waste generation and disposal practices at Andersen AFB, Guam. Twenty locations and/or facilities were identified as potential hazardous waste sites. Follow-on recommendations included alternate techniques for handling hazardous waste confirmation studies and in some cases, closure of existing hazardous waste disposal sites. (Author)
