Clean-Burning Diesel Engines.

Abstract

Gaseous and particulate emissions were measured from diesel forklift engines under a variety of teady-state conditions. An EPA certification fuel was used to determine CO, CO2, NOx, HC, particulate, aldehydes, smoke and SO2 emission rates from Isuzu C-240, Peugeot XD3P, and Teledyne TMD-20 diesel engines. Emission rates were reported in b/hp-hr, g/hr, and observed concentration, i.e., ppm, percent, or mg/cu. m. (Author)
