The Effect of Varying the Internal Angle of a Dihedral Corner Reflector

Abstract

Small deviations from orthogonality can reduce drastically the baskscattering radar cross section of dihedral corner reflectors. In this paper this effect is studied using the method of physical optics with emphasis on the reduction of RCS achievable for modest departures from orthogonality.
