Determining an Azimuth with a Gyrotheodolite.

Abstract

This report is intended as a practical guide to surveyors for making measurements to determine an azimuth using a gyrotheodolite. This report gives a bried description of how the gyro works, improved observing procedures for its use, and the results of field observations. Accuracies of + or - 5 arc seconds can be obtained.
