Application of Vandermonde Decomposition to Directional and Modal Analysis of Broadband Transients.

Abstract

Progress in the theory and applications of Vandermonde decomposition is briefly summarized. The broadband direction finding application is outlined. A step-by-step description of the factorization algorithm is given. Efforts to localize broadband acoustic transients are summarized.
