The Leader Requirements Survey Package

Abstract

The Leader Requirements Survey Package contains the Leader Requirements Survey (Forms A and B) and the answer booklets. This task analysis survey of the leadership portion of the job was developed by the Army Research Institute in order to provide the Army with empirical information about the progressive and sequential nature of Army leadership. The survey task list was based on interviews with more than 200 commissioned officers (2LT - COL) and noncommissioned officers (SGT - CSM) and was distributed to these same groups Army-wide, across all branches. The results of this survey (to be published in a forthcoming report) will be used to ensure that the Army's multilevel leadership training program is commensurate with leader requirements.
