Abstract

This Field Guidebook provides background information and material to assist the participants of the excursions, forming part of the 4th Benelux Colloquium/COMTAG meeting on Geomorphology and Soils held in Amsterdam and Leuven 24 Apr-2 May 1988. The material presented is a mixture of previously published and unpublished work. The Benelux Colloquia on Geomorphological processes are organized at 4-year intervals by the various universities in Belgium and The Netherlands who are actively pursuing research in the general field of process geomorphology. The 1st excursion is to the area of the coastal dunes north of The Hague. The 2nd excursion begins in Amsterdam and ends in Leuven.
