Analytical Transfer Functions in Parallel Configurations

Abstract

Piecewise analytical solutions for typical autopilot transfer functions were developed to increase speed of digital simulations of guided munitions over standard numerical integration techniques. The replacement of serial autopilot configurations by equivalent parallel configurations avoids difficulties arising from propagation of signals through a sequential network of widely varying natural frequencies and always leads to a decomposition with readily integrated terms.
