A Lumped-Parameter Code for Reverse Annular Liquid Propellant Guns

Abstract

In this paper a description of a reverse annular regenerative liquid propellant gun code is given. The basic governing equations for the lumped parameter model are similar to those developed for the inline model, and the derivations are not repeated in detail. Changes in the equations are described, and the reasons for the changes are given. A complete description of the present group options is given. The code is compared to experimental data for a 30mm gun fixture developed by General Electric Keywords: Guns.
