Design of Glued Joints, Elastoplastic Adhesives

Abstract

This report presents the purpose and the different stages of the study as a whole. The experimental work, calculations and software for the 1st part are described. Tests to define the properties of the selected adhesive HYSOL EA 9628 NW and joint tests were carried out. Calculation methods with software programmes were developed and applied with the finite-element method. A study of the elastoplastic field was undertaken. It will be continued along with the final characterisation tests, during the second stage of the contract. (js)
