Interactive EAGLE: An Interactive Surface Mesh and Three-Dimensional Grid Generation System. Version 1.0 User's Guide

Abstract

The generation of surfaces and three-dimensional grids for use in finite-difference computations is tedious and time-consuming, but can be made more efficient when implemented in a workstation-based interactive environment. Interactive EAGLE is an interactive surface mesh and three-dimensional grid generation system based on the wellknown EAGLE grid generation codes. Interactive EAGLE implements most of the functions available in the batch EAGLE codes and has been extended to allow input in the form of cross-sectional profiles. Interactive EAGLE performs all input functions through interactive screens and menus, and significantly increases the rate at which surface meshes and three-dimensional grids can be generated. In addition, the user can access the wide range of powerful operations available in the EAGLE codes without knowledge of the input requirements and internal structure of the batch versions.
