A Boundary Scattering Strength Extraction Algorithm for the Analysis of Long-Range Reverberation Data

Abstract

This report describes a method for extracting rough boundary scattering strengths from long range reverberation data generated by scattering from the rough ocean surface and bottom. The method is implemented through modifications and extensions of an existing NRL boundary-range-dependent reverberation model, RASP.
