Rotorcraft Activity Survey

Abstract

This report presents the results of a special one-time Rotorcraft Activity Survey. The survey is conducted by the FAA to obtain information on the activity of the United States registered rotorcraft fleet. The report contains breakdowns of active rotorcraft, annual flight hours, average flight hours and other statistics by rotorcraft type, manufacturer/model group, region and state of based aircraft, and primary use. Also included are law enforcement and public use rotorcraft, lifetime airframe hours, engine hours, miles flown estimates, and estimates of the number of landings.
