Soft X-Ray Undulator

Abstract

A soft x-ray undulator has been based at the vacuum ultra violet storage ring at the National Synchrotron Light Source. The undulator is being used as a radiation source by a multi-institutional research team to perform the first spin polarized photoemission experiments in the United States to study noval ultra thin magnetic films and surfaces.
