A Computer Program for Evaluation and Overlay Design of Roads, Streets ad Open Storage Areas Using Nondestructive Testing and Elastic Layered Method - WESROAD

Abstract

A user-friendly computer program, WESROAD, is presented for the evaluation and overlay design of roads, streets, and open storage areas using the elastic layered method. The program is designed to operate on an IBM or compatible machine under the DOS 3.0 operating system or a later system. This report provides users with necessary information for running WESROAD, including the programming logic, computer system requirements, user instructions, and the input and output of an example problem. The pavements to be evaluated include flexible, concrete, and composite (asphalt over concrete) pavements. The overlay design includes flexible and concrete overlays. Pavements--Overlays--Data processing, WESROAD (Computer Program), Roads--Design and construction--Data.
