Evaluation of Commercial Water-In-Fuel Test Kits.

Abstract

This report describes evaluation tests on four commercial water-in-fuel test kits intended to measure the level of free water in aircraft fuels. Evaluations were conducted using water saturated fuel deliberately contaminated with predetermined levels of free water. The readings of the test kits were compared to determine the test kit that is most appropriate for Army use. jg
