Efficiency and Performance Test of the ZF LSG 2000 Transmission.

Abstract

A ZF Friedrichshafen AG transmission, the LSG 2000, underwent performance and efficiency testing at the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC). Results obtained indicated that the LSG 2000 performed better than the transmissions it was compared with while under low speed, high torque conditions, but performed worse than the comparison transmissions while under high speed, low torque conditions.
