Abstract

The Moon as a cosmic body and as a world has become a center of attention to modern science. From an object whose study once occupied a small circle of astronomers and selenographers, it has become the subject of numerous studies and lively discussions. All this is a consequence of the brilliant feats of Soviet science which we are witnessing.
