Feasibility Study, Realisation TICCSon ISIS

Abstract

TICCS (Target Information Command and Control System) is an information system for the Dutch army to enhance the air-defence-capacity of the available air-defence means and to optimise the air-defence concept. Interoperability plays an essential role in this system. The ATCCIS study (Army Tactical Command and Control Information System) has provided standards to accomplish this interoperability at an international level. ISIS (Integrated Staff Information System) is the Dutch implementation based on these standards. It is developed for the higher command levels (division, brigade) and provides both interoperability and a framework for application development. The aim of this report is to give insight in the consequences of possible procurement of ISIS for realising TICCS on division- and brigade level.
