International Semiconductor Device Research Symposium

Abstract

The International Semiconductor Device Research Symposium (ISDRS) is held biannually in Charlottesville, Virginia. Since its inception in 1991, it has developed an international reputation as a convivial, collegial, and effective forum for the exchange of the latest results and ideas relating to semiconductor device research. Recurring themes of the conference include an unusually international attendance and a very strong emphasis on student participation. The range of topics addressed by the conference include many areas that directly impact research supported by the Army Research Office. These include nanoscale devices, optoelectronics, self-assembled systems, advanced fabrication technology, and microwave/millimeter-wave devices.
