Radar Image Enhancement, Feature Extraction and Motion Compensation Using Joint Time-Frequency Techniques

Abstract

This report summarizes the scientific progress on the research grant "Radar image Enhancement, Feature Extraction, and Motion Compensation Using Joint Time-Frequency Techniques" during the period 15 April 1998-30 September 2001. Research on radar motion compensation using NATO and Navy SCATR radar data, feature extraction of targets with movable components, and radar image formation in the presence of chaotic target motions is presented.
