Tables of Natural Frequencies and Nodes for Transverse Vibration of Tapered Beams

Abstract

The natural frequencies, nodal points and mode functions for transverse vibration of tapered beams are presented in this report. The beams considered have the cross-sectional area bounded by the curve \y/h\beta + \z/b\gamma =1 with the thickness h and width b varying along the beam according to the relations.
