Decision Making Under Uncertainty Applied to the Counter Scenario

Abstract

A team of micro air vehicles (MAV) are inspecting a sequence of objects to accumulate evidence to convict/acquit an object as a target. Images are sent to a remote operator who serves the role as feature detector. This apart models the MAV-operator team as a stochastic dynamic program (DP). Solution of the DP yields the optimal policy of actions to perform on the objects regardless of the operator evaluation or when it is received.
