Abstract

Studies were performed to develop a new National Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems Permit for the discharge of effluents from the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility into Pearl Harbor. The technical approach adhered to proposed U.S. Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for the development and application of the following studies: * Best Management Practices (BMP) Program * Discharge characterization * Water Effect Ratio (WER) * Recalculation * Translator
