The Design of Emplacements for Rocket Motor Testing

Abstract

This note outlines the considerationed M.O.W./ M.O.S. This Emplacements Working Party to the problem of designing emplacements for the firing of liquid propellant rocket motors. It indicates proposals for a test-bed in which the operation of an 8000 lb thrust motor running continuously for periods of five minutes can be tested.
