Abstract

The Marine Corps' Installation 2020 vision is intended to ensure our installations evolve now, and transition in step with mission of the operating forces. Installations comprise of the MAGTRF and represented the foundation of combat readiness. In 2020, the installations will provide enough quality training environment and be recognized as directly supporting "Total Force Readiness". Encroachment continues to be a serious threat to the readiness of the Marine Corps. Implementating encroachment mitigation strategies is a key pillar of the 2020 vision.
