Portable Language-Independent Adaptive Translation from OCR

Abstract

This is the fifth R&D quarterly progress report of the BBN-led team under DARPA's MADCAT program. The Multilingual Automatic Document Classification, Analysis and Translation (MADCAT) program will develop an end-to-end system to automatically translate handwritten and printed foreign documents into English with very high accuracy. The report is organized by technical task area.
