Methodology for Composite Durability Assessment

Abstract

This documents contains briefing charts on the Accelerated Insertion of Materials - Composites (AIM-C) program. The goal of the AIM-C program is to accelerate the insertion of new materials and processes and evaluate the effects of material, processing and design on the performance of composite structures. This briefing addresses the capability to analyze environmental effects such as temperature and moisture and durability, including creep loading, fatigue loading and residual strength.
