Haditha General Hospital Under the Economic Support Fund Program, Haditha, Iraq

Abstract

SIGIR is assessing projects funded under the Economic Support Fund program. The objective of this project was to renovate and expand the size of the Haditha General Hospital. The contract cost was $3.7 million; however, shortly after the award, the hospital administrator decided that the contract did not adequately address many of the hospital's needs. This resulted in a modification that increased the total cost to $5 million. The objective of this project assessment was to provide real-time information on relief and reconstruction projects to interested parties to enable appropriate action, when warranted.
