Solar Air Heating Metal Roofing for Reroofing, New Construction, and Retrofit

Abstract

This project installed a solar air heating metal roof on the Gaffney Fitness Facility at Fort Meade, Maryland, to demonstrate a better, longer life roof that delivers solar heat to the building and document the design, construction, and performance of the roof and energy savings.
