AGOR 28: SIO Shipyard Representative Bi-Weekly Progress Report

Abstract

Progress on the building of AGOR 28, oceanographic research vessel Sally Ride. Work continues 1) reviewing Vendor Recommended Spares (VRS); 2) reviewing Technical Manuals and Supplemental Information; 3) work on initial outfitting lists for Sally Ride; and working on NS5 Hierarchy. LAMALO was on site to check the shaft loading on both vessels. On 16 December, Dakota Creek Industries (DCI( was notified by OCMI that further installation of Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) on Sally Ride is prohibited. 30% of the MLV has been installed on Ride at this time.
