2014 - 2015 Civil Affairs Issue Papers: The Future of Civil Affairs

Abstract

This report written by civil affairs practitioners covers issues facing the civil affairs community in order to inform civil affairs leaders and defense policy makers about the future of civil affairs. It contains summaries from three panels conducted during a Civil Affairs Symposium in November 2014 that covered past operations, lessons from a decade of war, and the future of civil affairs. In addition, the report contains five issue papers written by civil affairs professionals.
