Annual Report for Aerobic Bioremediation of a Contaminated Aquifer, Port Hueneme, California

Abstract

This report describes laboratory and field activities conducted to date on the air sparging technology. Laboratory studies are being conducted at Arizona State University and at the Oregon Graduate Institute. Field studies are being conducted at the Naval Exchange Gasoline Station, Port Hueneme, CA. This project is being conducted for the Environics Directorate of the Armstrong Laboratory, Tyndall Air Force Base Florida. This project involves the installation and operation of two air sparging systems in the field, and laboratory evaluation of parameters affecting air sparging.
