Carbon Fiber Transfer Functions through Filters and Enclosures

Abstract

Experimentally determined values for the transfer of carbon fibers through air filters and electrical equipment cabinets are given together with a description of an improved technique for measuring carbon fiber exposure. The data show that even coarse filters greatly reduce the transfer of carbon fibers.
