Next Generation Rotorcraft Transmission Adv Tech
Abstract
This Project develops and ground demonstrates variable-speed transmission technologies that can be matured and integrated into the development of Future Vertical Lift (FVL) platforms. Research in this Project is fully coordinated with Program Element (PE) 0602148A (Future Vertical Lift Technology). The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Science and Technology focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Research in this Project is performed by the United States (US) Army Futures Command.
